Go rest high on the mountain friend.

“Good friends are like stars – even when you cannot see them, you know they are always there. With heartfelt sympathy and loving thoughts, your friends from Krieglach.”

Thank you for your love and care over the years. You took care of me from 18 all the way into adulthood. Delivered and cared for all 3 of my babies. Your smile and deep care will truly be missed. Rest well ❤️

Dr. Elaine Schmidt was my doctor for 35 years and my co worker for 29 years. She delivered both of my babies and my son Mateo was one of the biggest babies she ever delivered. She was full of love and always took care of everyone around her. She had so much dedication to each and every one of her patients. She would bring us the best dishes in the office to eat all day long. Her specialty was her breakfast casserole and her Mexican dip. She also made a layered Jello dessert that was absolutely delicious. I will miss her smile and her contagious laugh. She was the happiest she had been in a long time. I wish she had been given more time to enjoy her much deserved retirement, but the lord always has his plan. Prayers to her son, Colton and the rest of her family during this difficult time.

Delivered all my children, Best doctor EVER!!!! You’ll be missed

I was fortunate to have been able to work with Elaine and always appreciated her smile, passion for her patients and her vocation, and her compassion. She loved sharing stories of surprising others with “what this old lady can do” on the beach volleyball court and kept me company during our early mornings and late nights at the office. I too was the lucky receipt of one of her handmade blankets when she had me as her Secret Santa and my family looks forward to snuggling under it still during the Christmas season. I am heartbroken she wasn’t given time to enjoy her well earned retirement but know her faith was strong and she is in loving arms. Prayers for peace and comfort to Colton and the rest of her friends and family.
