Eleanor Goyette's Obituary
Eleanor “Onie” Goyette, age 78, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016. She was born on December 26, 1937 to Ernest and Jeanette Kleman in Marinette, Wisconsin. She was a graduate of Marinette High School class of 1955. Onie enjoyed reading, solving crossword puzzles, and traveling. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. She will be missed by all who knew her. Onie is survived by her loving husband, Michael Goyette; children, Melissa (David) Strait, Liz (Errol) Pearsons; grandchildren, Geoffrey Goyette, Carrie Goyette, Michael Strait, Andrew Strait; sister, Jean Wilson and her faithful companion, Louis. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Peter Goyette; sister Margie Chamberland. A celebration of Onie’s life will be held at The Lake House (730 Terrace Point Dr.) on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 PM. For a more lasting memory, contributions in Onie’s name can be made to either St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, The Nature Conservancy, or the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
