Eleanor E. Kinney's Obituary
Eleanor Edna Kinney, age 80, passed away Saturday morning, September 5, 2015. She was born October 22, 1934 in Coldwater, MI to James and Edna (Fuller) Hodges. Eleanor married Arthur H. Kinney on June 9, 1956 and he preceded her in death on January 23, 2009. She worked 23 years for Johnson Technology before retiring in 1992. Eleanor was a member of Shiloh Tabernacle Fellowship and enjoyed bowling and playing Bingo. SURVIVORS include 5 children: Vivian (Jim) Murdock of Virginia, James (Jennifer) Kinney of Santa Fe, NM, Liz (David Lockhart) Gasaway of Muskegon, Bruce (Patty) Kinney of Muskegon, Dorothy (Keith) Holmes of Bradenton, FL; 23 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carole Hodges of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son, Lyle Kinney; 3 brothers, Leonard, Edwin, and Steve Hodges; and sister, Alta Phillips. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 11, 2015 at Shiloh Tabernacle Fellowship (460 E. Tyler, Muskegon, MI 49445) with Pastor Verne Wright officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to Harbor Hospice will be appreciated.
