A very special Lady. I was 6 years old when she married my brother Orie. Not only a sister-in-law but was a 2nd Mom to me as a teenager. She told me to marry someone far away so they would have somewhere to go. We have wonderful memories of all the times they came to California. A loving, warm, person with an extremely hilarious sense of humor. Marsh, I, and our family love her so.. I spoke to her every week the last few years from Idaho always sharing about all of her grandkids. I am going to miss her greatly. We express our sympathy in the loss of your special Mom.

I remember your Mom as a staple of our neighborhood...always there. Just like another set of parents. Always sweet, always smiling, that is her memory in my mind... growing up next door was indeed both a privilege and a wonderful childhood experience. I will always treasure my memories.

Aunt Eleanor will surely be missed. Her daily calls to mom all ready are a void for the Thelma and Louise team...that's what they called themselves when they used run errands together in the blue van. To our cousins........We cherish many happy memories of Aunt Eleanor. She was our
connection to the generation that we had to let go of, as well as an inspiration as she aged so gracefully! Aunt Eleanor is the reason we stop at Miss Lisa's, have enjoyed breakfast at the Idle Hour in Spring Lake, have solar pals on our window sill and a "puzzle table" to work a puzzle now & then. We find a few "Aunt Eleanor recipes" showing up on our kitchen table every so often and we can't help but smile when we think of our Aunt Eleanor! John and Jean Pendell
