Eleanor Lucille Ripka's Obituary
Eleanor Lucille Ripka age 92 of Ravenna, died Monday, January 17, 2011 at Crockery Creek Elder Care in Ravenna.
Eleanor was born on April 8, 1918 in Moorland Twsp, MI to the late Ralph and Grace (Patterson) VanBergen. She married Joseph “Joe†Ripka on October 24, 1936. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2003.
Eleanor is survived by 2 Sister: Lois Hall of North Muskegon and Cleo Dill of Fruitport. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Eleanor was preceded in death in addition to her parents and husband Joe by 1 Son: James Joseph Ripka, 1 Sister: Edith and 1 Brother.
Funeral Services for Eleanor will be conducted on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 11:00am at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with Rev. Rick Ferris officiating. Burial will be in Ravenna Township Cemetery.
The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna from 9:00am until the time of service to greet friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Ravenna Conservation Club.
