Eleanore R. Pelfresne's Obituary
Eleanore R. Pelfresne, age 98, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020. She was born April 25, 1921 in Manistee, MI to Frank and Mary (Mikula) Krusniak and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. Eleanore married Eugene Pelfresne in June 1948 and he passed away January 15, 1956. Eleanore worked 32 years as an inspector for Teledyne-Continental Motors Corp. and retired in April 1979. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Eleanore enjoyed writing songs and poetry and listening to music. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Ron) Kirkendall; her son, Randall Pelfresne; 2 grandchildren, Kristy (Alan) Tubbergen, Ken (Ann) Kirkendall; 4 great-grandchildren Jacob and Anna Tubbergen, Fiona and Grayson Kirkendall; 2 sisters-in-law, Dona Pelfresne and Ann Sell; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Pelfresne; her son, Steven Pelfresne; her parents and 6 siblings. There will be a private family service.
