Eleanor M. "Mickey" Franklin's Obituary
Mrs. Eleanor M. “Mickey” Franklin, age 72, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Mercy Hospital. She was born March 29, 1934 in Muskegon to Floyd and Lillian (Henley) Dunham and lived her entire life in the area. She worked over 25 years as a cashier for D & W Food Centers and retired in 2005. She was a member of Temple United Methodist Church for over 52 years and was a member of the church choir. Mickey was well liked by many people. She was always doing things for her co-workers, church friends or anyone she met. She had a very big heart and was a very special person. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS include her daughters, Deborah (Robert) Griffith, Lisa (Robert Nichols) Clendenon; her son, Michael (Jackie) Hammond; grandchildren, Hope (Patrick) Mitchell, Michele Mowat-Clendenon, Matthew Mowat-Clendenon, Elizabeth Clendenon, Jacob Clendenon, Rebekah Clendenon, Amber Rose Hammond; 2 great-grandchildren, Caitlynn Griffith and Paige Griffith; sister, Dolly (Charles) Long; brothers, John (MaryHelen) Dunham, Bob (Ginger) Dunham, Tom (Joyce) Dunham, Bill (Sharon) Dunham, Tim Dunham; and special friend, Ron Burmeister. She was preceded in death by her son, David Hammond, brother, Floyd “Bud” Dunham, Jr., and her parents. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 21, 2006 at Temple United Methodist Church with Rev. Gerald Hagans officiating. INTERMENT will take place at E.
