Eleanor R. Clark Parrish's Obituary
Mrs. Eleanor Roberta Parrish, age 93, passed away early Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at her home in Holland. Born August 4, 1917 to Robert and Julia (Griswold) Rabey, she lived in Muskegon most of her life. She was the widow of Harvey F. Clark, and retired as a school teacher with Muskegon and Orchard View Public Schools. Mrs. Parrish was a member of Calvary Baptist Church while living in Muskegon, and First Missionary Baptist Church of Auburndale, FL. Her SURVIVORS include her children: Carol Jean (Robert) Zorn of Muskegon, Lona Jane (Jack) Rasey of Muskegon, Patricia Ann (Don) Tindall of Zeeland, Harvey “Lee” Clark of Holland, and a step-daughter, Jeannette (Thomas) Oliver of Auburndale, FL; many grand and great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Clark of Wayne, OH; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey F. Clark in 1995; a son, Gary “Lyn” Clark; her parents; a granddaughter, Tonya Finley; daughter-in-law Maureen Sue Clark; son-in-law Spencer Elliott; and brothers Victor, Ivan and Vernon Raby. FUNERAL SERVICES for Mrs. Parrish will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 24, 2011 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444, phone 231-798-1100 with Rev. Dennis Perkins officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to Hospice of Holland would be appreciated.
