Mrs. Elfreda A. Nuttall's Obituary
Mrs. Elfreda A. Nuttall, 95, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022, in Muskegon. She was born May 5, 1927, to Karl and Frieda (Ninus) Strauch in Dusseldorf, Germany, and moved to the United States when she was 21 years old. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and worked for many years as a Professional Tailor for Remwolt’s Tailors making custom clothing. On November 5, 1948, Elfreda married Robert W. Nuttall and he preceded her in death on July 16, 1983. Survivors include four children: Ronald Nuttall, Terry Nuttall, Linda (Kenneth) Wilcox, Anita Vicarie; six grandchildren: Danielle (Marcie) Stegall, Terry (Donita) Turner, Stephanie Duke, Jennifer Vicarie, Kyle (Michelle) Nuttall, Kelly Kamin; eleven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother: Willy Strauch; and three sisters: Luise Qwattelbaum, Gerda Barth, and Mary Hollfeld. The funeral service for Mrs. Nuttall will be held Friday, December 2, at 1:00 PM at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Nuttall may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
