Hey Gisela,
Judy ran into Crystal at the dollar store and heard about your mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Another Alzheimer journey comes to a close. I'll always remember your mom's smile and her hats she wore in the Garden at Sanctuary at the Oakes. I bet she and my mom Ruth are sharing stories in heaven. You were such a devoted daughter. Take care of yourself now. Hope to see you tomorrow. Linda Feldt
Dear VanderKooi Family and Friends,
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one. Please accept my sincere condolences. May it comfort you to know that “The Most High God” has resurrected humans before through His Son Jesus, and He assures us He will do so again very soon. (Acts24:15, Psalms 83:18,Job 14:15).
My sincerest sympathies to all of Elfriede's extended family. I knew Elfriede from cooking together at BLBC. Will never forget her wonderful stories of how she met her husband in war torn Germany ("such a cute American soldier!") or how she would come to the kitchen for a long day of working/serving with perfectly coiffed hair and a perky color coordinated outfit. She gave away her beautiful smile to all. So evident that she knew and loved the Lord. I look forward to seeing again on the other side! ~Melodee Staggers
Oh, I am sorry that the earth is without Elfriede, but happy for her promotion. She was always special to our family and we enjoyed her when she was in our Bible study. She was down-to-earth, personable, and just plain nice. My mother will be sad to hear this news.
