Dr. Elizabeth Curtis was an outstanding young dental professional, who was constantly challenging the status quo, looking for ways to grow professionally, and compassionate for her patients. We were privileged to have had Liz on our dental staff in our public health dental clinic in Hart, and we know that she will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched. I am sending my most sincere sympathy and prayers for comfort, peace, and guidance in the difficult days ahead. Liz was such a positive, smart, gifted, person. Her laughter brightened my life and I wanted to let you know that she will not be forgotten. It has been years since I have hung out with Liz socially, but crazy as it seems, have enjoyed my visits with her while in the dentist’s chair. It was just a few weeks ago that we were both laughing so hard, Liz was crying and our pregnant bellies were touching at some points while she worked on my tooth. We talked and joked about the surprising “gifts” that come along with pregnancy. Commiserating over sleep problems, outgrowing maternity clothes, and the many physical changes that a woman can never be prepared for made us laugh some more. With a cracked tooth and being 9 months pregnant, my appointment to see Liz was the highlight of my day.
I am so sorry for your loss. I will continue to lift you and your entire family up in my prayers. May Liz’s sense of humor live on!

I worked at Adam's daycare a few years ago before I had kids of my own. I remember Dr. Curtis as being one of those moms who was really easy to talk with. I felt super comfortable talking with her everytime she came to pick up baby Adam. She had a very warm personality that made me feel at ease. I am so sorry to hear about this. What a wonderful, loving woman.
