Elizabeth Anne DeBone-Wall's Obituary
Elizabeth Anne DeBone-Wall, age 78, of Coopersville, MI, formerly of Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Fountain View Assisted Living in Coopersville. She was born April 28, 1945 in Detroit, MI.
Elizabeth married Jimmie Lawrence Wall on May 26, 1978; Jimmie preceded her in death on March 24, 2015. She worked as a bookkeeper for NBD Bank for many years. Elizabeth was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Madill, OK where she sang in the choir and in recent years attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake. Elizabeth loved watching movies and was an avid collector, with a special interest in dolls and in frog collectibles. She was very logical and handy with household repairs and had a quick wit.
Elizabeth enjoyed being with her family; she especially enjoyed Christmas traditions of music, making Pizzelle cookies (Italian cookies) and tending to her long Christmas card list of family and friends. She looked forward to Annual Wall Family Reunions in the summers for many years.
She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Laura (John) Vitale; three brothers: Robert “Bob” (Judie) DeBone, William “Bill” (Kathy) DeBone and Lawrence “Larry” (Carol) DeBone; stepson,Jimmie D Wall; stepdaughter, Deanna L. Wall Speer; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John Thomas DeBone and Lorraine (D’Amico) (DeBone) Cabrera, her brother, John DeBone, and stepson, David A. Wall.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held June 29, 2023 at 11 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake, with Father Bill Vander Werff as celebrant. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the Mass at Church. Interment will be in East Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Watonga, OK. Memorials to Holy Cross Catholic Church in Madill, OK are appreciated.
