Mrs Elizabeth Ann Duram's Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Duram, age 72, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013. Betty was born July 22, 1941 to Herman and Celia (Beyrle) Secord in Muskegon. On June 13, 1964, she married Donald R. Duram and he survives her. Betty was employed as a medical secretary for Mercy Hospital for over 30 years prior to retiring in 2006. She was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and current member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church where she was involved in many activities. She was also involved in many community activities including several Walk-A-Thons. Betty loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. Along with her husband of 49 years, Betty is SURVIVED by her daughters, Catherine (Guy) Huey of Muskegon and Margaret Duram of Frisco, Texas; her grandchildren, Shelby and Tyler; 4 brothers, Joseph, Charles (Terry), George (Helene) and James (Susan) Secord, all of Muskegon; her sister, Theresa Secord of Louisville, KY; and many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her brother, Phillip and sister, Patricia Carlson. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 451 S. Getty St., with Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson as celebrant. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION will be 5-8 PM Monday at
