Elizabeth Fox's Obituary
Ms. Elizabeth Fox departed this earth and entered into her Saviors arms on July 26th, 2017 at the age of 77. Elizabeth was born June 30th, 1940 to Chester Martin and Omeda Blackwell. In 1953, Elizabeth moved to Muskegon, MI. She later married Roy G. Fox and together they had eight children. He preceded her in death. Elizabeth was a valued employee of Every Woman’s Place for over 22 years. She retired in 2006. Elizabeth was a very private woman who devoted most of her life to raising her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and any other child in need of her love and care. Her family will forever cherish memories of playing board games, piecing together puzzles, and spending quality time together. In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting postage stamps, coins, and working crossword puzzles. She was also an avid reader who loved learning and sharing new things. The memory of Elizabeth will be shared by her eight children: Ricky Martin of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Troy Fox (Letitia) of Grand Rapids, MI, Cecil Fox of Lansing, MI, Angela Fox of Grand Rapids, MI, Lisa Fox Smith of Muskegon, MI, Anthony Fox (Teri) of Oakland, CA, Rory Fox of Muskegon, MI, and Michael Fox of Atlanta, Georgia; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; seven nieces; and a large extended family and friends. SERVICES will be 12 Noon on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Bethesda Baptist Church (575 S. Getty St.). VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in Mona View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Every Woman’s Place or the Christian Care Nursing Center Activities Fund.
