Elizabeth J. "Liz" Middlecamp's Obituary
Elizabeth June “Liz” Middlecamp, age 95, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026. She was born June 1, 1930, in Muskegon, to Anthony and Mary (Ristway) Pavlich, and had been a lifelong resident of the area.
On November 29, 1952, she married Kenneth E. Middlecamp in Muskegon, and he preceded her in death on December 30, 1982.
Liz worked for many years at Mills Manufacturing in the shipping and receiving department prior to her retirement.
Liz was a social butterfly. She loved a night out of dancing or an evening in playing cards with family or friends. She enjoyed many winters as a snowbird in the Sunshine State. She wouldn’t walk into a room without asking for a hug and a cup of coffee with you. She was very creative. To be loved by Liz meant you were blessed with one of her beautiful quilts. She truly enjoyed life and was blessed to be able to live it to the fullest.
SURVIVORS include her four children, Janice Lichty, Vicki (Dan) Nohrden, Doug (Cheryl) Middlecamp, and Bruce (Terise) Middlecamp; nine grandchildren, Melissa Gilleece, Lisa Emery, Kimberly Morse, Derek Middlecamp, Andrew Middlecamp, Drake Middlecamp, Joshua Lichty, and Jeremiah Ostradick; 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Karen Gilleece; granddaughter, Michelle Wierenga; and nine brothers and sisters.
A private family service will be held for Elizabeth. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Kenneth, in Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
