Elizabeth Sullivan's Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Sullivan, age 90, of Spring Lake passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018. She was born January 26, 1928 in Fort Wayne, IN to Edmund and Griselda (Krouse) Degitz. On August 9, 1948 she married Robert Sullivan and he passed away in 2000.
Elizabeth was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She played duplicate bridge and was an avid reader, who loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by four children: Peggy (Dennis) Hedigan of Clearwater, FL, Nancy (Bob) Eikhoff of Wyoming, Susan (Michael) Swiatek of Grand Haven, and Joseph Sullivan of Seattle, WA; two grandchildren, Amy (Victor) Oddy, and Kristin Swiatek; two great-grandchildren: Brenna and Alyssa Oddy. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Patty Greene; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Bryon Swiatek; and her brother, Fred Greene.
A MEMORIAL MASS will be held 1:00 PM Monday, August 13, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. David Gross officiating. Visitation will be held 2- 4 PM Sunday, August 12, 2018 at The Spring Lake Chapel (213 E. Savidge St.). Interment will take place in Lake Forest Cemetery.
