Ms. Elizabeth Tucker's Obituary
Ms. Elizabeth Tucker, 94, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at her home. She was born May 26,1927, in Vanndale, Arkansas to Daniel and Iola(McCauley) Tucker. She later moved to Topeka, Kansas and finally made her home in Muskegon, Michigan in the 1940s. Ms. Tucker worked in several retail stores in Muskegon as a housewares department manager. She later worked for Clarke Commercial Cleaning Machines and Hydro Aluminum Automotive in Holland, Michigan, where she retired in 1989.She is survived by her four children, Charletta McMillan, Thomas J. Cain, Jr. and Kathie Tucker of Lansing, Michigan and Gregory Tucker of Muskegon, Michigan. She leaves fifteen grandchildren and a host of great grand and great great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Walter, Lonnie, Willie Mae and Cardell, grandson Thomas J. Cain, III, and great grandson, Mlinzi Damani McMillan.
Ms. Tucker was a very giving and spirited person and was loved deeply by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 1:00 pm at the Upper Room Church Ministries, 1450 Catherine Ave., Muskegon, Michigan, 49442. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Contributions in memory of Ms. Tucker may be made to: Charletta McMillan, 3027 Trappers Cove Trail, 2A, Lansing, MI, 48910. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI, 49442.
