Elizabeth A. "Kelly" Jalovec's Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth A. “Kelly” Jalovec, age 81, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012. She was born on December 31, 1930 to Gerritt and Johanna VanderStelt in Muskegon. She was a member of Grace Christian Reformed Church in Muskegon. She had a daily passion for writing letters and sending cards. On July 29, 1953 she married Carl R. Jalovec and he survives her along with 2 sons, Carl “Bob” Jalovec Jr. and Mark (Julie) Jalovec; 2 grandchildren, Jordyn and Jacob; 1 brother, Maurice “Bud” VanderStelt; In-Laws, Carl (Genevive) Jalovec, 4 special nieces, Gloria McDonald, Kathy Gardenour, Patti Sower and Karol Reardon. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Alice Smith, Joyce Dixon and brother, Neal VanderStelt. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11AM Friday, January 20, 2012 at Grace CRC (2500 East Laketon Ave.) with Rev. Ken Havert officiating. VISITATION with her family will be 4-7PM Thursday at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 MEMORIALS to West Michigan Heart Association would be appreciated. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
