Elizabeth Ann Kelly-Brott's Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Kelly-Brott, age 51 passed away unexpectedly at home, Saturday, June 6, 2009 following a long illness. Beth was born in Muskegon on January 22, 1958 to Charles J. and Joe-Ann (Bennett) Kelly. She resided in Muskegon and attended Mona Shores High School until moving to Ravenna in her sophomore year, graduating from Ravenna H.S. in 1976. Beth was an accomplished equestrian, earning a state championship in 1970. She was employed as an inspector at Kaydon Corp. for many years until forced to retire in 1992 because of ill-health. Beth loved animals, enjoyed games, gardening and spending time with family. She married her partner of 32 years, Keith E. Brott on June 24, 2008 and he survives her along with their son, Wyatt; mother, Joe-Ann (Arthur) Forester of Norton Shores; sister, Kim (Steve) Jesse of Roosevelt Park; brother, Patrick Kelly of Norton Shores; in-laws, Robert and Mary Brott of Ravenna; special nephew, Scott; niece Sara and a host of family. She was preceded in death by her, brother, Scott in 1973 and father in 1981. In accordance with her wishes a private memorial service for family will be held at a later date.
