Elizabeth "Bibs" Fisher's Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth “Bibs” Fisher, age 91, went to be with her Lord Sunday morning, October 24, 2004. She was born January 17, 1913 in Muskegon to Alex & Agnes (Kelly) Laman and has been a life resident of the area. “Bibs” was an active member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church. On June 22, 1935 she married Bernard R. Fisher and he preceded her in death on June 25, 1969. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, William B. Fisher, in 1976, 1 son-in-law, Harold Elliott, and by 2 sisters, Henrietta Luytjes and Katherine Boiten. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters, Nancy Elliott of Norton Shores and Barbara (Lloyd) Henry of Savannah, GA; 4 granddaughters, Heidi (Brad) Sprague of Spring Lake, Heather (Greg) Shunta of Grand Haven, Karri Farrow and Lynn Bellinger of Savannah, GA and by 2 great-grandchildren, Brittany Farrow and Lucas Elliott Sprague. SERVICES will be 2 PM Wednesday at Calvin Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Ron Nyenhuis officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be 5-8PM today (Tuesday) at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441 (231-759-8565)and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Calvin Church. MEMORIAL GIFTS to Calvin Church Building Fund or the Alzheimer’s Association will be appreciated.
