Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” M. Bohn, age 92, passed away Friday, May 28, 2004 in Allegan. She was born March 4, 1912 to Joseph and Grace (Motter) Suerdieck in Tipp City, OH and had been a resident of Muskegon for over 50 years. Mrs. Bohn was an Instructor and Director of Nursing at Hackley School of Nursing, and retired as the Director of Muskegon Visiting Nurses. Mrs. Bohn had been a Red Cross Volunteer and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. On October 19, 1944, she married Harry E. Bohn, and he precedes her in death along with her parents; 1 brother, Robert Suerdieck; and 1 grandson, Erik Bohn. She is survived by 4 children, Harry (Mona) Bohn, Muskegon, Robert (Cheryl) Bohn, CA, Theresa (Basil) Keur, Allegan, Rita Romano (William Stejskal), VA; 8 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 step great-grandchild.
