Ella Huston's Obituary
Mrs. Ella Huston, age 92, passed away Monday morning, December 29, 2003. She was born June 1, 1911 in Lutz, Russia and came to this country as a child living most of her life in the Muskegon area. She married Clarence L. Huston on August 19, 1950 and he preceded her in death on March 19, 1981. She worked as an assembler for Clarke Floor and Sanding Co. for 19 years. She was a member of St. Thomas of Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Cloud, FL and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Muskegon. She was an avid golfer and hit a hole-in-one at age 75. SURVIVORS include 1 daughter, Harriet (Richard “Dick”) Egeler of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren, Eugene (Pat) Egeler, Christine Wellman, Kathleen (Mark) Olson, Richard “Rick” Egeler, Laura (Jack) Nummerdor, Duane “Skip” Egeler, Annette Aldridge, and Mark Egeler; 12 great-grandchildren; special friend, Donald (Clara) Egeler; and special pet lab-retriever, “Lady”. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Eva Huston. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be held 10:00 AM Friday, January 2, 2004 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. INTERMENT will take place at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando, FL. VISITATION with Ella’s family will be held 5-8 PM Wednesday at Sytsema Funeral Home, 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210.
