Ellen S. Bosma's Obituary
Mrs. Ellen S. Bosma, 68, passed away Saturday morning, August 20, 2016 in Muskegon. She was born September 2, 1947 to Robert and Louise (Holmgren) Wagner in Grand Rapids. She resided in Kent City then Ravenna before moving to the Muskegon area. She owned Lakeshore Parking Lot Maintenance of Spring Lake, MI. Ellen married Henry A. Bosma on February 9th, 1981. Ellie is survived by Hank and her 2 children, Deborah (Randy) Lettinga, Bob (Traci) Ruch; 4 grandchildren, Christopher (Morgan), Julie Ellen, Lora and Lindsey; 4 step-children, Kay-lin Write, Kristine (Scott) Phillips, Michael Bosma and Edith Dywer; 7 step-grandchildren; 1 brother, John (Susan) Wagner. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Mary Jo Behler and Julie Baltrusaitis. Ellie enjoyed going to the casino, cooking and laughing with her best friend Sue Brand. She enjoyed baking banana bread and loved giving it to everyone from close family friends to the cashiers at the grocery store. Ellie’s granddog, Wicket, brought her nothing but joy and was always by her side. Everyone who met Ellie loved her for her kind spirit and bright smile, and Ellie loved everyone she met. Services for Mrs. Bosma will be at 4:00 PM Tuesday, August 23, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Private burial Wednesday morning at Chubbuck Cemetery.
