Ellen Mae Cutler's Obituary
Ellen Cutler, age 92, died October 4, 2012 in Muskegon. She was a life resident of Muskegon, born March 31, 1920 to James and Maude (Crooks) Pearce. She married Orrin C. Cutler and he preceded her in death on October 24, 2001. After raising their five children, Ellen became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked over 22 years at Muskegon General Hospital. Survivors are daughter, Nancy (Richard) Willcutt, son Orrin Lynn (Kathleen) Cutler; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren (1 deceased); 2 great-great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; 1 sister Blanche Bird and several nieces and nephews. . Ellen was also preceded in death by 2 sons, SGT James I. Cutler, who was killed in action during the Vietnam War and Charles P. Cutler, who was killed in Las Vegas, daughter in law, Susanna Cutler and by her daughter, Kathryn Adele Cutler. She was also preceded in death by her birthday brother, Robert Pearce and adopted sister, Mary Anne Pearce. SERVICES will be 1PM Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Olivet Reformed Church, (2018 Shettler Rd.) with Pastor Jim VanderMeiden officiating. Burial will be in Mona View Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8PM Monday at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc.; 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441 (231-759-8565); and one hour prior to the service at church, on Tuesday. For a more lasting Memorial, you are asked to consider the Final Approach Vietnam Memorial or the Salvation Army.
