Mrs. Ellen Maxine Dick's Obituary
Mrs. Ellen Maxine Dick, age 91, passed away Sunday evening, September 29, 2013. She was born February 2, 1922 in Kaleva, MI to Edward and Bertha (Bogue) Clements. Mrs. Dick worked for Misco in Whitehall, MI for over 20 years before retiring in 1986. She was a former member of First Church of the Nazarene in Muskegon and had attended Clyde Park Nazarene Church in Grand Rapids. Mrs. Dick enjoyed reading and traveling. SURVIVORS include 5 children, Patricia Chase of Grand Rapids, James (Mary) Dick of Charleston, SC, Randy (Patricia) Dick of Wolf Lake, Richard (Cathy) Dick of Ravenna, Robert Dick of Muskegon; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Larry (Sally) Clements of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 spouses, Donald Clarke in 1944 and Ralph Dick in 1986; 2 sons, Donald and Edward Clarke; 2 granddaughters, Christy and Kimberly Dick; grandson, Eric Wiard; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, 2270 S. Mill Iron Rd., with her grandson, Rev. Jamie Evans officiating. Burial will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be from 5-8 PM Thursday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100.
