Ellen Juanita "Wanda" Waterman's Obituary
Mrs. Ellen J. “Wanda” Waterman, age 80, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 in Muskegon. She was born August 25, 1932 in Tunas, MO, to Willis and Lula Bell (Shadrick) Taylor and lived in the Muskegon area since 1953. Wanda worked nearly 40 years for S.D. Warren Papermill and retired as an inspector in 1994. She enjoyed deer hunting and sports fishing in Pentwater. Wanda also enjoyed shopping and had spent the past 16 winters in Florida. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Bruce (Maria) Waterman, and Patricia LaMadline of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Matthew Waterman, Scott (Melani) LaMadline, Paulette Waterman; 2 great-grandsons, Chance and William; 1 brother, Denzil (Peggy) Taylor of Tunas, MO; her life-long friend and companion, Bob Schwab of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 1 grandson, Brian Waterman; her parents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 16, 2013 at Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home, 303 N. Maple Street, Buffalo, MO 65622 – (417) 345-2233. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Scribner Cemetery in Windyville, MO.
