Mrs. Ellen A. Campbell, age 67, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 15, 2010 in Holland. She was born August 2, 1942 to Jonathan and Evelyn (Strait) Critchett in Muskegon, and moved to Holland from California in 1984. Ellen worked as a lab technician in W. Michigan, and had been a member of the Church of Christ. SURVIVORS include 1 son, John Meister of Holland; 1 daughter, Marcy Meister of Holland; 9 grandchildren, Summer, Sean, April, Christopher, Samantha, Crystal, Rani, Nicole, and Mariah; 3 great-grandchildren, Sean Alan Michael, Isaiah John, and Jeremiah Marley; 3 sisters, Marlene Walters of Florida, Linda (Bill) Ezell of N. Muskegon, Donna (Jack) Buit of N. Muskegon; 1 brother, Jerry (Pam) Critchett of N. Muskegon; many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved brother and best friend, John A. Critchett. SERVICES will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Pastor Jonathan Rager officiating. Burial will take place at Norton Cemetery. VISITATION at the funeral home will be from 2-5 PM Sunday.
