Ellis Pierson's Obituary
Mr. Ellis Pierson left this world on Friday, October 13, 2023, to join loved ones in Heaven. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn King Pierson; six brothers and sisters, and his beloved daughter, Debbie, whom he cared for, for 66 years until her death in May of this year.
Ellis was an Army veteran who served in Korea, an avid hunter and a Christian who lived his faith.
Ellis is survived by his children: Gloria (Rog) Knoper, Cindy (Jerry) Wilthof, Diane (Tim) Ten Brink, and Patty Jo Manglos; brother-in-law, Ron (Beckie) King and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and special friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 19, 2023, at The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 620 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417 with Pastor Jeff Elzinga officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Spring Lake Township Cemetery.
