Mrs. Elma J. Bosma's Obituary
Mrs. Elma J. Bosma, 98, passed away Sunday evening, January 22, 2023, in Muskegon. She was born June 5, 1924, to Cline D. and Mary (Lautenslager) Sills in Sparta, MI, and moved to the Muskegon area when she was 11 years old. Elma worked in the billing department at Hackley Hospital before retiring. On August 28, 1943, she married Jack C. Bosma and he preceded her in death on March 21, 1995. Survivors include four children: Timothy (Nancy) Bosma, Thomas (Linda) Bosma, Susan (Edmon) Booker, Robin (Robert) Busch; 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sister. Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening, January 26, from 5-7 PM at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. There will be no funeral service. Burial will take place at Egelston Twp. Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Bosma may be made to Agewell Services/ Meals on Wheels Muskegon.
