Elmer F. Schumann's Obituary
Mr. Elmer F. Schumann, age 91, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday morning, July 29, 2007. He was born January 5, 1916 in Chicago, IL to John C. & Christine (Jensen) Schumann and has resided in Muskegon since 1936. Elmer was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II and had been employed at Westran Corporation’s Tractor/Trailer Division for 40 years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, cruising, golfing, fly-fishing and bowling. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Mary Schumann of Muskegon; and was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Carl Schumann. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11AM Friday at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441 (231-759-8565)with Pastor Jonathan D. Rager officiating. MEMORIAL GIFTS to ASPCA or the Noah Project will be appreciated.
