Elnora M. Krug's Obituary
Mrs. Elnora M. “Norna” Krug, age 93, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, at the Harbor Hospice Poppen House. She was born on November 1, 1927, in Muskegon to Harvey and Isabel (Dunn) Hancock. Elnora was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Muskegon and belonged to their Circle Guild & New Seniors. She enjoyed being in the sunshine outdoors, and entertaining people with her food. In August of 1954, Elnora married Paul Krug and he preceded her in death in 2000. SURVIVORS include four children, Patti (Don) Bogema, Paula (John P.) Halloran, Tim (Kathleen) Krug, and Joni (Mike) White; 10 grandchildren, Kate (Scott) Giger, Kara (Eric) Steinke, John D. (Kari) Halloran, Christopher (Emily) Halloran, Meghan (Ty) Rollins, Brian (Ashleigh) Halloran, Sarah (Josh) Schultz, Paul Krug, Andrea White, and Kyle White; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Beverly Thielman; and in-laws, Esther Maloney, and Albert Krug. Elnora was also preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn DeVries. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11 AM Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Appold & Pastor Scott Giger officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 10-11 AM. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery in Montague.
