Eloda May Judd-Erickson's Obituary
Mrs. Eloda May Judd-Erickson, age 81, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening at Hackley Hospital following a brief illness. Eloda was born in Muskegon on May 5, 1928 to Frederick and Beatrice (Robarge) Batchelder. She was a 1946 graduate of Muskegon Heights H.S. and prior to her retiring in 1990 was employed at Pioneer Resources, Consumers Energy and the Muskegon Fury Gift Shop. Eloda married Mr. William G. Judd on August 23, 1957 and after nearly 50 years of marriage Bill preceded her in death on July 30, 2007. Eloda was a member of, St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church and the Vikings Linne’ Lodge #57. On September 6, 2008 Eloda married Mr. M. Jack Erickson and he survives her along with: two daughters, Michelle (James) Chick of Roosevelt Park and Kimberly Anderson of N. Muskegon; four step-children, James (Donna) Stone, Pamela (Mike) Chvala, Joseph (Janet) Erickson and Michael (Debbie) Erickson; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; two sisters, Virginia Sifel and Doris Funderburg and step-son, Michael Judd. The Funeral Service will be held at: The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 11:00 A.M., Friday, February 19, 2010, Fr. William J. Fleener presiding. Visitation: Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. She will be laid to rest in Norton Cemetery. Memorial Contributions: Vikings Scholarship Fund.
