Dearest Beth!
Jeanne and I give you our sincerest Christian sympathy at this time of Elly's death.
I always will remember our visits. She was so witty, intelligent, and receptive of me as Visiting Pastor from Trinity. I sort of lost track of Trinity folks since Pastor Paul became Pastor. I didn't realize Elly was failing. She had such a spiritual history and I always will recall her sincere reception of Holy Communion in happiness and peace. Your "puppy," Shaun, sometimes would join us for Communion at our feet in the kitchen, seeming to know something important was happening. I miss my time and visits with her, and I know you will miss her greatly in the days and years to come. However, always remember, death is swallowed up in victory! I also miss all you Trinity folks. I have kept in touch with Ed Leatzow, and suspect you will be teaching there again in the fall. I'm sure our paths will cross again somewhere soon. Power and Peace to you and your family!
