Mrs. Elsie L. Deater's Obituary
Mrs. Elsie L. Deater, age 85, passed away Tuesday evening, July 10, 2012. She was born July 22, 1926 in Muskegon to Amos and Anna (Kilsonen) Wallerstrom. On January 10, 1944, she married Morris C. “Morrie” Deater in Liberal, KS and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2010. For many years she was a self-employed seamstress, and was also a member of Samuel Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Deater O’Neill (Mike Crotty), Kaye (Dwight) Hamilton, Laura (Gary) Ayers, Thomas (Elizabeth) Deater; 7 grandchildren, Heather (Alex), Jennifer (Patrick), Bryon (Casey), Alex, Matthew, Scott, and Luke; 5 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ann (Louis) Eklund. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dagney Jazdzyk, Lorraine Johnson, and Herbert Wallerstrom. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Monday, July 16, 2012 at SAMUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH.
