Elsie Mary Mish's Obituary
Heaven gained another angel when Elsie Mary Mish, age 91, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019. She was born June 5, 1927 in Cedar Point, IL to Angelo and Stella (Seghi) Facchini. Elly was a 1945 graduate of Muskegon High School and a long-time hostess/bartender at the Doo Drop Inn prior to her retirement. On April 3, 1948, she married Joseph D. Mish in Muskegon. She had attended St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was also a former member of the Muskegon Yacht Club. Elsie was an avid shopper, loved going to beaches and soaking up the sun. But most importantly, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved to spoil and spend time with all of them. SURVIVORS include her husband, Joseph of 71 years; 4 children: Mary Jo Mish Keefe, Peggy Cooper, Barbara (Mathew) Dansbury, Nancy (Joseph) Dancz; 2 grandchildren: Paul (Jennifer) Frassetto, Leah Dancz; 2 great-grandchildren: Allison and Paul Frassetto; brother-in-law, Jerome Mish; and sister-in-law, Sister Janet Mish OP. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother and sister-in-law, Geno (Agnes) Facchini. Private family services will be held for Elly at a later date.
