Elsie D. Holstrom's Obituary
Mrs. Elsie D. Holstrom, age 88, passed away Monday, October 29, 2007 in Muskegon. She was born on January 10, 1919 to Andrew and Esther (Carlson) Kvarnberg in Chicago, IL. She was a member of Samuel Lutheran Church and took part in Person to Person and Women’s Circle at the church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and time spent with her family. On October 28, 1944 she married Harry Holstrom in Muskegon and he survives her along with 2 children, Thomas (Cris) Holstrom of Spring Lake and Patricia (Ed) Schroeder of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Abby and Beth Holstrom and Anne and Phoebe Schroeder; and 1 sister, Frances Savage of Golden, CO. SERVICES will be 11 AM Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Samuel Lutheran Church with The Rev. Philip Nordstrand officiating. VISITATION will be 6-8 Wednesday at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 In lieu of flowers MEMORIALS can be directed to Samuel Lutheran Church or Tempting Tables. BURIAL will take place at Laketon Township Cemetery.
