Elsie M. Jackowski's Obituary
Elsie M. Jackowski, age 91, passed away at the McAuley Place on Monday, December 26, 2011. She was born in Muskegon Heights on September 30, 1920 to John S. and Katherine (Mares) Klobucher and was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. During WWII Elsie worked as an inspector for the U.S. Navy Ordinance Department, and prior to her retirement in 1975, was employed at American Coil Springs for 32 years. The former Elsie Klobucher-Beckley married Mr. George Jackowski in Muskegon on January 10, 1969. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2002. Elsie is survived by: her special niece, Jackie (Jaime) Rosenberg; two sisters, Kathyrn Taulbee and Mary Crain; 4 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many other nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: a son, Bill “Ted” Beckley; two brothers, Frank & John Klobucher; and sister, Ann Klobucher.
