Dear Marilyn and Family,
Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with you during this difficult time as you mourn the passing of "El." What a classic man he was. I always appreciated his gracious and affirming spirit during the short years I was privileged to be his pastor.
Though we grieve, it is not without hope. For we know from the Scriptures that when a loved one who is in Christ leaves this life, it is a wonderful transition to a new a glorified state. To be "absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." In this hope we find strength and assurance.
