Emery Pustai's Obituary
Mr. Emery Pustai, age 82, went to be with the Lord early Saturday morning, January 10, 2004. He was born July 16, 1921 in Toledo, OH to John and Mary (Bistai) Pustai. Mr. Pustai grew-up in Ravenna, and later moved to Fremont and Holton. He worked for Sealed Power Corporation for over 30 years before retiring in 1977. Mr. Pustai enjoyed farming, animals, camping, and traveling. He loved spending time with children, and always had candy for them in his pocket. On August 1, 1968 he married Elizabeth Patsukonis in Muskegon and she preceded him in death on July 22, 1990. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Matt (Joyce) Granbacka of North Muskegon, Kathy (Steve) Collins of Twin Lake; 4 grandchildren, DeWayne Holtrop of Spring Lake, Kelly and Kerri Granbacka both of North Muskegon, Joey Sterritt of Twin Lake; great-granddaughter, Brianna Holtrop; sister, Caroline Pustai of Ravenna; brother-in-law, George Watson of Ravenna; 2 sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Stella Pustai both of Ravenna; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Olivet Evangelical Free Church. Burial will be in Holton-Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday at
