Emily J. "Jeannie" Miklosovic's Obituary
Emily J. “Jeannie” Miklosovic, age 77, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020. She was born on September 26, 1942 to John and Mary Miklosovic in Muskegon, MI. Emily was a faithful servant of the Lord and while she lived in Muskegon attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Jeannie was a friendly and happy-going woman who made a special impact on all the lives she touched. She was blessed with a creative spirit and had quite the knack for coloring and painting. She was also fond of her baby dolls and babies in general and had motherly instincts. She also had a love for The Andy Griffith Show, and you could usually find her enjoying an episode. She brought a positive energy and will be fondly remembered by all the staff and residents of Superior Woods Healthcare Center in Ypsilanti, MI. Jeannie will truly be missed. She is survived by her sisters, MaryAnn (Paul) Karis and Christine (John) Haddox; her brother, Michael (Mary) Miklosovic, sister-in-law, Dorothy Miklosovic, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her dear friends and caregivers, Kelly and Ken Grant of Kelly’s Kare, Peggy Christensen, and Billie Picklesimer. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Miklosovic. Due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak concerning social distancing, private family services will be held. A larger Memorial Service will be held at a later date to include the many friends and family that would like to attend.
