Babysitting him and Steph.. once we were throwing a ball in the house. Of course it smashed the aquarium! I tried to cover it up by vacuuming the water up out of carpet, Mary called me next time she was vacuumed...busted before that ,but busted twice.
Dear Eric's Family, I would like to express my sincerest condolences on the sudden passing of Eric... My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Eric my friend, you will be always remembered for your kindness, good humor and calm... Great memories since when we first met in Mexico till the last time we catched up face to face when Lions were about to play the playoffs!! We will miss you my friend
Rest in Peace
Dear Eric’s family,
I can’t believe in my lifetime that I would have to write these words.
I first met Eric in Eagle Ottawa, then later he joined to work in the Stahl family.
I have travelled to many countries with Eric over the years. I have some of the best memories of my life with him. There are so many stories about our time together that I will hold in my heart. The news of him passing broke my heart. Eric was always loved by all in his presence, he had a light that people were drawn to.
To me personally, as I knew Eric he will always be, Eric “baby face” Webb … My Brother ..
This just kills me, Eric and his family were my neighbors when I bought my house in 2007. We had our twin boys in 2010 and they played together with JB and Reghan all the time til they moved. So much fun playing in the backyard and swimming. Couldn’t get those kiddos out of the pool! Eric was always willing to give a hand. One occasion that sticks out was a bad winter when the power went out. He disconnected his generator and hooked it up to our house so we could get a few hours of heat. I have no doubt his loss will be felt by many….
The Vogel Family
Dear children & girlfriend of Eric + family & friends,
I would like to express my sincerest condolences on the sudden passing of Eric last week. My thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time.
Although I worked with Eric only occasionally over the years, he always left a lasting impression.
I had the great opportunity to attend a management training program with him many years back, and ever since then, whenever our paths crossed—usually just once or twice a year—we would always take a moment for a warm, friendly word.
I remember him as a genuinely kind person, with a warm smile and a twinkle in his eyes that made every interaction easy and pleasant.
He touched many people across our organization, near and far, and he will be remembered fondly.
He will be terrible missed by us colleagues and for sure also by his customers.
He has been of great value for Stahl but even more important he was a good person. You can be proud of him.
Wishing you strength, comfort, and moments of peace in the days & time ahead. With sympathy,
Jolanda Scheij
