Eric Travis Knoll's Obituary
Eric Travis Knoll, age 25, of Spring Lake and Lake Ann passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009, at his home in Kalamazoo. He was born July 21, 1983, to Robert and Ginger (Meyers) Knoll in Grand Haven.
Eric was a lifelong resident of both Spring Lake and Lake Ann and was a graduate of Glen Lake High School. He was formerly employed as a sales associate in the wireless telecommunications industry and was a baptized member of Spring Lake Wesleyan Church. Eric’s fascination and study of meteorology, his love of fishing, golf, bowling and all spectator sports, were all quality time in his short life.
Eric is survived by his special friend, Emily Bruen of Traverse City, his parents, Ginger (Jerry) Brege of Spring Lake, Robert (Carol) Knoll of Lake Ann, grandparents, Phillip and Dottie Meyers of Spring Lake, Winnie Knoll of Spring Lake, two sisters; Laura Obcamp of Lake Ann, Emily Rankin of Grand Haven, five brothers: Ryan Obcamp of Maple City, Wyatt Brege of Grand Rapids, Montana Brege of Kalamazoo, Adam Knoll of Grand Rapids, Ross Knoll of Grand Haven, a special nephew, Landon Jo Brege of Spring Lake and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Cody Brege and his grandfather Clarence Knoll.
The service celebrating Eric’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009, at Spring Lake Wesleyan Church with Pastor Peter Yoshonis officiating. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Ottawa or to the Grand Haven Christian School.
