Ernest E. Steele's Obituary
Mr. Ernest E. Steele, age 68, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 2, 2005 at his home. He was born July 23, 1937 to Ernest G. and Vesta (Brewer) Steele in Rogersville, TN, and moved to the Muskegon area from Ann Arbor 10 years ago. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was very involved with Volunteer Muskegon. Mr. Steele was a jet pilot for Corporate Flight out of Detroit Metro Airport, and was also the Vice President of Operations and Chief Pilot for the company. Previously he also worked for Guerdon Industries in Louisville, KY. He married Patricia (Link) on July 5, 1970 in Ringgold, GA. She survives him along with 2 children, Carrie Mae (Curtis) Parvin of Morristown, TN, Michael E. (Sheri A.) Steele of Dandridge, TN; 2 grandchildren, Jonathon and Angela; 1 great-grandchild, Destiny Ann; 1 brother, Joe C. (Jeanette) Steele of Rogersville, TN; 1 sister, Mary S. (Phil) Ingoglia of Tampa, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother-in-law, Major Thomas P. Hanson. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at The Walburn Chapel,Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc.,1547 W.
