Erwin M. LeCompte's Obituary
Mr. Erwin M. LeCompte, age 90, died Friday, January 14, 2005 in Muskegon. He was born on February 8, 1914 in Grand Rapids to Michael and Jacoba (DeJonge) LeCompte. He had worked as a wholesale florist in Grand Rapids and Battle Creek for 30 years, before moving to LaBelle, FL. He returned to the Muskegon area in 2001. Mr. LeCompte enjoyed gardening and fishing with his family and friends. On June 25, 1932 he married the former Ula Mae McCollum, and she preceded him in death on September 26, 2001. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Marie Dage of Cincinnati, OH, Frank (Judith) LeCompte of Muskegon, Marvin LeCompte also of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. LeCompte was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. VISITATION with the family will be 3:30-7 PM Monday at The Walburn Chapel,
