Mrs. Estelle A. Hobbs' Obituary
Mrs. Estelle A. “Honey” Hobbs, 90, passed away Friday morning, November 16, 2018 in Muskegon. She was born April 27, 1928 to John and Estelle (Lundquist) Estler in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. She had worked at The Fair for 20 years before retiring, was a life member of Calvary Memorial Church where she was active in Meals on Wheels, nursery and Bible Studies. On January 20, 1945 she married Robert L. Hobbs, and he preceded her in death in 1990. Survivors include 4 children: Robert S. Hobbs, Roger S. (Cinda) Hobbs, Lorraine K. (Dennis) Gereaux, Ryan S. (Debbie) Hobbs; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Robert Estler and Bud Gould; 3 sisters: Louise Clark, Babe Grant and Shirley Tawney. The funeral service for Mrs. Hobbs will be Tuesday, November 20, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Memorial Church, 909 E. Giles Rd. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service, also at church.
