Mrs Esther Fredricksen Ginman's Obituary
Mrs. Esther Fredricksen Ginman, age 97, passed away on February 23, 2015. Esther was born August 12, 1917 in Muskegon to Sam and Johanna Johnson and married Donald Fredricksen on February 2, 1940. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1966. On April 4, 1992 she married Herbert Ginman who also preceded her in death on December 21, 2003. Esther received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from Muskegon Community College in 1967. She was a lifelong member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church where she had been very active. Esther will be missed by her 3 children, George Fredricksen, Mark Fredricksen, and Julie (Allyn) Beekman; 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren; and also by her step-children, Bill (Willy) Ginman, Mary (Tony) Powell, Lynn (Ted) Mauseth, and Nancy (Kenneth) Oberman; 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Esther was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, grandson, Todd Fredricksen-Mandich, sons-in-law, Bill Ginman and Tony Powell, and several other family members. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on March 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1132 Southern Ave., with Rev. Tom Williamsen officiating. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Interment in Restlawn Cemetery.
