Etta Carbonell's Obituary
Mrs. Etta F. Carbonell, age 77, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in Muskegon. She was born on September 8, 1938 in Lewiston, Idaho to John and Faye (Copus) Roden. She married Arthur Carbonell on August 12, 1986 and after 21 years of marriage he preceded her in death in 2007. Etta was a consultant with The Hillcrest Acadia Investment Company, prior to her retirement in 1986. She enjoyed crafting, traveling and was an excellent business woman, mother and grandmother and her family always came first. SURVIVORS include her children, Carl (Doreen) Lemon, Laci LaLonde and Callie (Richard) Sierra; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Melba Arntson; god daughter, Tiffany Dickens. Etta was also preceded in death by her son, Stephen; her grandson, Benjamin Pearson; her sister, Opal Anderson; and son-in-law, David. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11AM Monday December 7, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor Mark VanHook officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10-11AM. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society or The Polycystic Kidney Foundation.
