In early 1950 going to Union High School I was given a part-time job working for Yakes Office Supply. Gene made it fun to work as we got the job done. We took our breaks at the little coffee shop down the block and said Hello to S & S TV as we passed. After Union I went to work full time for Yakes. After 2 year in the Navy I came back to work for Yakes.
I have many worderful memorys with Gene, Dell, Mat and the new store at 2041 South Division (2041 ?) Many thanks to Gene and the Yakes family for taking in a school kid. Gene was a friend the kind you never forget.##imported-begin##Ron Glupker##imported-end##

Dear Edna,
We will never forget Eugene and all the great times we spent together over the last 45 years.......our trip to Spain and Portugal in l974, weekend bridge games when we were in Toledo, trip to NYC in 1986 to celebrate our anniversies, Golf and bridge weekends in Ludington and just doing ordinary fun things in between the "big stuff"
Eugene was very much loved by us and we will remember him always..
We are praying that God gives you and your family the strength to cope with his loss.
We love you,
