Eva Maria O'Keefe's Obituary
Eva M. O’Keefe, age 75, peacefully passed to the Lord at home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, after a brief fight with cancer. She was born March 18, 1947, in Geislingen, Germany, to Artur and Valentina (Ronk) Virro. Eva loved to garden, travel and was an avid reader. She will be remembered for her compassion, her wit, her love of Estonia and thoughtful conversations over coffee with friends. Eva will greatly be missed by her daughters, Pauline (Joel) Virro-Nic and Amanda O’Keefe-VanHolstyn; grandchildren, Ashley Kolberg, Aidan Nic and Fiona Nic; brothers, Olaf (Annaleisa) Virro and Toomas Virro; sister, Karin Rivera; as well as many nieces and nephews and their children. Eva was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm, October 23, 2022, at The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 620 Washington Ave., Grand Haven, MI 49417.
