Mrs. Eva Annie Prescott's Obituary
Mrs. Eva Annie Prescott, age 90, passed away Tuesday morning, September 29, 2015 at a Fremont nursing facility. Eva was born August 14, 1925 in Bicester, England to Percy James and Bertha Kate (Bourton) Truby. On February 24, 1945, she married Charles W. Prescott and he passed away in 1974. Eva enjoyed reading and loved her family; especially her grandkids. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (John) Erb of Grant, MI; her grandchildren, Dawn, Jenny, Scott, Bobbi, Julie, Amy, Stacy and Lori; greatgrandchildren, Gage, Shelby, Ken, Desi, Nathan, Amanda, Holly, Christopher, Justin, Logan, Aubrie, Zane, Shay, Colin and Parker; two great-greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Eva was preceded in death by her parents, son, James; daughter, Pauline Gardner; three brothers, William, Percival and Sidney and her sister, Jeannie May. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 3, 2015 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Rev. John H. Brown officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muskegon County Veterans Center.
